The FML-based startup hemoTUNE (to be incorporated) has won Venture Kick 2nd stage and competes now in the final round for a prize money of CHF 100'000!

Haelixa is nominated for two prestigious Institution for Chemical Engineers (IChemE) awards: the Innovative Product Award 2016, and the Oil and Gas Award 2016. Additionally, Haelixa has been selected as one of the Top500 Deeptech startups in the Hello Tomorrow Challenge 2016.  

The research of Corinne Hofer has been published as hot paper in Angewandte Chemie and has been featured in the German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) and further news platforms.

Another competition, another price: hemoTUNE passes first stage of the Venture Kick competition winning 10'000 CHF price money!

The FML-based startup hemoTUNE wants to revolutionize blood purification employing nanotechnolgy. Yesterday, the team around CEO Lukas Langenegger won second place at the prestigious venture start up competition out of 114 participating teams in the category 'business idea'. Besides CHF 8'000.- in cash they recieve a McKinsey consulting package to bring their idea forward!

Lukas Langenegger, co-founder of hemoTUNE, got featured by SRF in a contribution of “10vor10” regarding Swiss startup money.

hemoTUNE, an FML spin-off by Lukas Langenegger, Carlos Mora and Corinne Hofer, develops a revolutionizing therapeutic blood purification platform. Functionalized magnetic nanoparticles applied in a dialysis-like circuit allow specific removal of disease related compounds in an efficient and mild way directly from a patient’s blood.
