Prof. Wendelin J. Stark

Wendelin Stark has been Assistant Professor of Catalysis at the Institute for Chemical and Bioengineering of the ETH Zürich since 2004. Prof. Stark was born 1976 in Switzerland. He studied Chemistry at the ETH with a stay at the UC Berkeley in 1999. During his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering he applied flame aerosol and flame spray synthesis to the manufacturing of inorganic oxides with a focus on heterogeneous catalysts. His research focuses on functional materials and their interface to chemistry (catalysis) and biology.
